Why a website in English language for contents written mostly by native Spanish speakers?

Given that English is the mother tongue of the Anglophone culture and the second language spoken in most parts of the world, it is the means of choice for international exchanges, both real and virtual, particularly among students, professionals, intellectuals, scientists, artists, etc.

Why Lacanian psychoanalysis?

In the current psychoanalytic scene, the Lacanian orientation is no doubt the most flourishing, vigorous and productive one. Just by visiting real bookstores or going through online catalogs, one may confirm that most authors are Lacanian or have been inspired by Lacan's teachings. There are solid reasons for this, as Lacanian psychoanalysis offers sound theoretical and clinical answers effective in dealing with the suffering of subjects.

Contents

Lacanian Psychoanalysis will publish papers, short articles and clinical vignettes on psychoanalysis and related subjects, placing special emphasis on clinical practice.

Full access to the contents requires a subscription to the site: www.lacanian-psychoanalysis.com/subscription

Financing

The site will be financed with subscription fees and income from advertising. This self-financing ensures editors the freedom to choose the contents of the site.

Call for Contributions

We invite authors of papers, short articles and clinical vignettes to submit their work.

Priority will be given to texts written in English or dealing with clinical topics.

Please send your manuscripts so that they may be considered for publication to lacanian@lacanian-psychoanalysis.com

More information and guidelines for submissions at www.lacanian-psychoanalysis.com/call-for-contributions

Russell

We would not have been able to undertake Lacanian Psychoanalysis without the work and experience of the Russell Virtual Community.

We would not have been able to undertake Lacanian Psychoanalysis either without the authors of contents and other contributors from the Community, whose efforts, intelligence and commitment to psychoanalysis bring to real life these virtual entities, which until recent years were simply unthinkable.

Finally, I am glad to thank our readers and surfers, who reward us with their congratulations and encouragement and also with their critique, all of which are testimony to the interest and passion with which they read us.

Jorge Bekerman, M.D.
